Racing video game Burnout Dominator was created by EA UK and released by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. Players still engage in the series’ trademark high-speed racing via a variety of World Tour competitions that evaluate “reckless skill-based” driving skills.

The only Burnout game not created by Criterion Games is this on], and it is also the only Burnout game since Burnout 2: Point of Impact to not have the “Crash Mode.” Criterion was working on Burnout Paradise at the time Dominator was being created, and they were waiting to re-introduce the mode in a new format for that game. However, the game manual refers to Criterion Games as “the developers of this game” and gives them credit as the developer on the official Electronic Arts website. Additionally, this was the last Burnout title to be made available on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable.
