Game Information:

Based on the 2006 Pixar movie of the same name, Carros is an open world racing computer game. It is also known as Cars: The Video Game. It was created by Rainbow Studios and published in June 2006 for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Microsoft Windows, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and PSP. Later that year, it was also made available for the Xbox 360 and Wii. The Wii edition, which was a launch title for the console, features features tailored to the Wii Remote controller.

After the events of the movie, the player controls Lightning McQueen as he competes in the new racing season with the aim of being the first driver in career history to win the Piston Cup while also competing and practising with the neighbourhood of Radiator Springs. Again, the player controls Lightning McQueen in the PSP edition. He runs upon the Delinquent Road Hazards group and dares them to a race, which they accept after narrowly missing a collision. The voice-over cast from the movie, which includes actors like Owen Wilson, Michael Keaton, Paul Newman, and Larry the Cable Guy, is fully included in the console versions. Keith Ferguson does Lightning McQueen’s voice acting for the PSP and DS versions.
