Game Information:
Racing video game MTX Mototrax was created by Left Field Productions and released by Activision in 2004 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Later that year, it was made by Beenox and distributed by Aspyr for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. In 2006, it was also made available for the PlayStation Portable. Additional versions for the GameCube platform and Tapwave Zodiac were scheduled for 2004, however both projects were eventually shelved when Tapwave went out of business. In Tony Hawk’s Underground for the PlayStation 2, the settings menu has a link to the demo version of the game.
The motocross racer Travis Pastrana, who provided his name and likeness for the game’s box cover, worked with developers on the project. Prior to deciding on its final name, it was first known as Travis Pastrana’s Pro MotoX and then changed to MTX: Mototrax starring Travis Pastrana.
