Game Information:
An anime series created by Toei Animation is called Saint Seiya Omega (, Seinto Seiya Omega, stylized as Saint Seiya). It is a Saint Seiya anime spin-off created to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary and was written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada. On April 1, 2012, TV Asahi in Japan started airing the series.
The show centres on Koga, a young adolescent who joins the 88 Saints—warriors who guard the goddess Athena—in the series. Koga, the Pegasus Bronze Saint, sets off on a quest to gain more strength so he can save Athena while encountering other Saints. The battle between Athena and her sister Pallas, which sparks a new war, is the subject of the show’s second season. A fighting game and a manga adaptation of the series were also released.
Due to a lack of suitable material, Omega was developed as a replacement for Saint Seiya: Next Dimension, the series’ direct sequel. As a result, Toei decided to create a new generation of Saints who would succeed the previous cast rather than focused on the returning ensemble. The series has received mixed reviews, with many critics accusing it of being cloned from other shows in the same genre.
